SmartWater, is a new concept which is proving a valuable deterrent and a great way in tracking down stolen goods.
Although a simple concept, the technology behind it is extremely clever. A colourless liquid is carefully brushed over your valuables. The water is virtually undetectable with the naked eye and is virtually impossible to remove.
Under UV light, you can see the "hidden" SmartWater. Now the clever part about SmartWater is that each water protected device contains a hidden DNA structure which makes that particular instance of SmartWater uniquely identifiable to it's owner. This acts as a signature which the police and trace back to it's original owners.
